The Pirogov University team reached the final of the All-Russian competition of teams for the implementation of youth policy and educational work in the nomination «Volunteerism and Ecology». 136 teams from all over the country participated in the selection.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Of the hundreds of universities, only the top five qualified for the finals of each nomination, and Pirogov University was among them.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Over the past two years, the University’s volunteers have:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2014 conducted more than 950 events;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2014 attracted about 9,000 participants;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2014 we have trained almost 1,000 volunteers;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2014 inclusive volunteering has been launched;<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2014 we have organized All-Russian forums.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The work covers medicine, ecology, education and support for the older generation \u2014 all this was presented in the application as a single, vibrant and constantly evolving system.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This is an official recognition at the federal level of the tremendous work of students and University staff.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In December, the team is going to the intramural finals, where the students will have to give lectures about their projects, defend their presentation before an expert jury and compete for first place among the best universities in Russia.<\/span><\/p>\n
